Set in 1942, “Land Girls” follows level-headed Annie, her fun-loving sister Bea, clumsy Joyce, and aloof Nancy, as they leave their homes and families for the first time to join the Women’s Land Army. For these city girls, it is going to be a huge journey as they work the fields for the war effort, grow up and forge friendships that will last them a lifetime. Along the way there will be laughs and tears – and all their lives will change forever.
